The task
Residents need to handle practical tasks without searching through disconnected screens. The case focuses on reworking mobile journeys, responding to user feedback and creating a shared Figma system for the design team.
Everyday tasks and a shared foundation
Residents
The home screen provides entry points to services and home controls. Payment information and maintenance requests are presented as dedicated flows.
The product team
Reusable components, typography, color styles and a documented task pipeline support consistent work across the application.
The interface
The original case shows research planning, product definition, low-fidelity flows and the move into detailed interface design. The screens connect that process to recognizable resident tasks.
- Resident home
- The starting screen groups service shortcuts and home controls. It gives residents a place to begin instead of presenting every task at once.
- Payments and charges
- The payment view shows a balance, a primary payment action and recent transactions. Related information stays together within the same flow.
- Service requests
- The request flow includes adding photos to explain an issue. Its step-by-step structure separates describing the problem from reviewing the attached images.
- Design system
- The case documents typography, colors, secondary shades, grids and components. These form a shared foundation for the mobile interface.
- Design workflow
- Research planning, a UX task pipeline and design-management checklists appear alongside the screens, showing how the work is organized.
